Ava was awarded a 2:1 in her law degree from the University of Liverpool in 2019. She expanded her legal knowledge by obtaining her Legal Practice Course Qualification and a Master of Law degree at the University of Law in 2022.

Having previously worked in the corporate and commercial department at a local firm, Ava joined VC Law in 2022 after completing her Master of Laws and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. She subsequently undertook her Training Contract with the firm, gaining experience across a range of practice areas before qualifying as a solicitor in 2025.

Ava is now a member of the Commercial Property team, where she advises on a broad range of property matters, with a particular focus on lending transactions and securitisation work. She works closely with lenders on a variety of financing arrangements and has developed particular experience in bridging finance transactions.

Her work also includes advising on secured lending matters, as well as sales, acquisitions and refinancing.Since joining the team, Ava has been actively involved in supporting Thom Vaughan in litigation cases and James Cranshaw in commercial property matters.

Her responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, including drafting contracts, transfers and leases, reviewing and reporting to clients on searches and leases, responding to enquiries, as well as handling debt recovery matters.
